Just before lunch on Day 3 Nicola Schofield, from Merton Park Primary, and Anthony Chesterton, from IBM, came and speak to us about the mentor program. Nicola also kindly gave us an overview of some of the exciting open ended Computing projects.

On the afternoon of Day 4 we spoke about Digital Literacy and making website using HTML.

We also spoke about unplugged approaches to HTML (and learning code in general). We played this paper game. It works really well if you allow pupils to cut out the code and re-arrange on the page.

At the end of Day 3 we spoke about e-Safety. We spoke about being inventive with our activities for maximum impact. There are also lists of resources at the end of the presentation, if you want lesson plans, websites for parents, etc…
